Democracy Building Fellowship in Seoul

Summer Internship: 

2 positions in Seoul at an international nonprofit organization working to strengthen and expand democracy throughout the world. Fellows will support partner civic media organizations in South Korea that work to improve democracy and human rights in North Korea. Fellows will be primarily responsible for strengthening the public relations and communications functions of the partners, and will work directly with staff in each organization. A strong candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a background in communications, journalism, IR, politics, and/or human rights. A strong candidate will be well-versed in writing, editing, content creation, and research, and should be able to perform Korean-English and English-Korean translation work. As such, written and spoken Korean proficiency is required.
