Summer Internship: 

1 position in Bangalore with a charitable trust empowering children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and flourish using a creative life skills approach. The organization works with a wide range of corporate and nonprofit partners, educators, and volunteers to serve the needs of thousands of children and young people each year. The Fellow will work closely with the Director of Strategic Partnerships to develop and execute key elements of the organization’s fundraising and advocacy strategies. Specific responsibilities may include grant writing, event planning, stakeholder engagement, coordinating strategic partnerships, researching and cultivating donors, conducting research on the life skills space, and editing the organization’s own periodical. Fellows should have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and be outgoing, organized and perseverant. Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM software would be preferred, as would Hindi language skills. Nicknamed the “Silicon Valley of India”, Bangalore is the center of India’s technology industry and has a thriving ecosystem of start-ups and NGOs. Bangalore’s elevation gives it a mild climate relative to that of other major cities in India, and it is known for its many pubs. Positions begin in July and last for 10 months.
