1 position in Bangkok with an international consulting firm specializing in political risk analysis, public policy, and government relations in Southeast Asia. The consulting firm provides independent appraisals of the political risk associated with existing and potential investments, expert analysis of public policy issues and strategies for engaging local stakeholders. The Fellow will help support the company’s regional consulting projects from the business development phase to project implementation. Responsibilities will include extensive research, writing, and editing to assist with the preparation of proposals, analytical reports, and presentations. A strong candidate will have a background in international relations and excellent communications, writing, and presentation skills. Knowledge of Thailand politics and history is a plus, though not essential. This position is subject to regional demand with final Fellowship locations determined by the consulting firm in December.

Other requirements:

  • Knowledge of current events in Asia, as well as an understanding of relative development levels and cultural differences across Asia.

  • Ability to conduct research independently and perform qualitative, and occasionally, quantitative analysis. 

  • Ability to write professional reports and memos quickly and independently

  • Ability to represent organization to a number of high-value stakeholders
