Summer Internship: 

1 position in Yangon at a major NGO specializing in malaria-elimination, AIDS prevention and family planning. Fellow will support both the local Myanmar team and operations, as well as support the Southeast Asia regional division’s work on a new malaria-elimination grant. Responsibilities include: writing/producing a monthly newsletter, developing technical and financial proposals to fund existing or new health programs, creating outreach and other communications reports, and writing narrative and financial reports on project activities for donors and producing the annual report. Fellow will have the chance to travel throughout the region and work with organization counterparts throughout Southeast Asia. Candidate needs excellent writing skills, some background in public health, and an eagerness to immerse themselves in the work of their local team as well as with regional and remote colleagues.

  • Academic, research, or professional experience in public health, medical, and/or related fields.
