Luang Prabang Film Festival

Fellowship Type:
Summer Internship:

2 positions in Luang Prabang with a leading Southeast Asian film festival, which is known for building relationships between the region’s industries and filmmakers and which has played a significant role in growing the film industry in Laos. Depending on the Fellow’s interests, experiences and skillsets, the Fellow will work on Development (writing grants, working with donors, building partnerships) or Programming (coordinating with curators, filmmakers and distribution companies). This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working on creative and economic development in the small, stunning city of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A successful Fellow will be able to work independently and creatively under pressure, and will have a roll-with-the-punches attitude and a thick skin. Successful Fellow(s) should be self-starters, as the festival team is very small, and requires great flexibility and commitment. Position starts in early July.
