2 positions in Yangon with a non-profit lab that creates money-making products and trainings for rural farmers at a price which they can afford. The lab combines their innovative products and trainings with customer feedback at the village level, and then markets the resulting products through existing sales channels. The lab is currently developing farming tech like irrigation systems and precision seeding equipment and trainings on topics such as rice seed selection to lead to better crop yields. The products and the process have the potential to bring millions of families out of extreme poverty. Positions vary year to year and may include working on their donor and business development team, supporting the data and research team, working on communications and marketing, or working as an English teacher in the organization’s in-house professional development program. Trips to other provinces may be required depending on the position. A strong candidate will have strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, as well as a high degree of professionalism.
