After spending her early years in Pierre, South Dakota, Rachel Knutson left home for the University of Wyoming to satisfy her inner cowgirl. She spent her time in the wild, wild West attending authentic country hoe-downs with her sorority sisters, off-roading in pick-up trucks, learning to shoot whiskey at the Buckhorn bar, cheering on the Cowboy football team with Pistol Pete by her side and, in her spare time, earning a journalism degree and dance performance minor. She knows she’s ready for the city life, as in 2006 she made the transition from small-town girl to big city lights when she spent a semester living in London and traveling around Europe. She’s ready to desert her redneck gum-chewing, spitting, jay-walking ways for the more (or less) “refined” life Singapore has to offer. “Real World Singapore” here she comes!
