Brandon Hall

October 22, 2005

After returning in January 2004 from his stint as an ESL Teacher at  Vientiane College in Laos, Brandon enrolled in a dual degree Masters program at Columbia University in education and international affairs.  In the course of finishing this program, he has returned to Southeast Asia twice - once last Christmas to spend a week as a Thai  Red Cross volunteer in Bangkok after the Boxing Day Tsunami and again this past summer to Phnom Penh, where he interned with an anti-trafficking and children's rights protection NGO.  Most recently, Brandon has been helping to launch the Legacies of War Project  (, a campaign to raise awareness of the affects of the Vietnam War on Laos.  Though he enjoys New York's Asian offerings, he looks forward to a time when he might sample those of a different (perhaps West Coast) American city shortly.
