1 position in Yamaguchi as a teacher at a national university. The Fellow will be a part of the Faculty of Global and Science Studies, a new department for global education at the 3rd oldest national university in Japan. This position includes teaching English language classes for university students, as well as providing academic affairs support for students. Fellow will also be involved in gathering information from other Asian universities to enhance the global partnerships of the university. Administrative and organizational skills required, as well as high proficiency in Japanese. Successful applicants are motivated, professional, and excited to be involved in student affairs and extracurricular activities. The university is located in Yamaguchi, a mid-sized city with famous attractions such as the five-story Ruriko-ji pagoda, delicious regional delicacies like kawara soba and fugu, and a wealth of opportunities to get to know Japanese young people. Position begins in June.
