Summer Internship: 

1 position in Tokyo working for a Japanese charitable organization that serves children from around the world who have lost one or both parents. The Fellow will work in the dormitory setting with students studying at local colleges and universities in Japan. The organization provides scholarships and loans, as well as emotional care and educational guidance to the children. Resilience, hard work, and companionship are important values taught at the organization, and are required characteristics for a Fellow. The Fellow will assist the students with their English language skills and with other initiatives, such as leading a summer exchange program, assisting with applications for further study abroad, test preparation, and mentoring. The Fellow will become a part of the community, and create a space for students to talk, and empathize with one another. Housing is provided. Japanese skills not required. Position begins in early June.
