2 positions working in the architecture studio of a leading Chinese architect in the field of traditional ethnic architecture in Changsha, China. Students should have a background in Architecture or Civil and Environmental Engineering. Work may vary depending on the skills and background of the student. Past interns have participated in site visits to villages in rural China to study traditional architectural practices of Hunan’s ethnic minorities, made business and ecological development proposals for revitalizing small towns, and have also participated in group project competitions with students from Hong Kong. There may be opportunity for travel to the countryside to study construction practices and village revitalization.
