Fellowship Type:
NGO - Community Development
Summer Internship:

2-3 positions in Yangon with a non-profit lab that creates money-making products for rural communities at a price which they can afford. The lab combines the best ideas with customer feedback at the village level, and then markets the resulting products through existing sales channels. The lab is currently developing affordable new products like solar lamps, water storage and cooking stoves. The products and the process have the potential to bring millions of families out of extreme poverty. Positions vary year to year, but typically include working on their donor and business development team, on their human resources team, and on their media team. Trips to other provinces may be required depending on the position. Positions begin in August.
