Sam graduated from Juniata College in 2012 with a Liberal Art-sy degree in English, Communication, and Anthropology. Upon matriculation, she took it upon herself to meticulously master the art of becoming a barista, until last spring, when she was through espresso-ing herself. Alas, Malaysia beckons and who is she to refuse its call? She’s stoked to explore all sorts of Asian wilderness, consume copious amounts of ethnic cuisine and exotic fruit, learn some basics of one (or as many as she can!) of the languages spoken in multicultural Penang, X,Y,Z. She is particularly curious to see how months of structuring lesson plans in foreign languages will translate into actually teaching English lessons to students at USM. It shall be an awfully big adventure, indeed.
