PiA Info Session @ UCLA

PiA Info Session @ UCLA
Thursday, October 26, 2017 - 7:00pm

"I am not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world." --Mary Anne Radmacher

After 119 years of sending recent graduates to Asia, we here at PiA would have to agree with Ms. Radmacher. If you are interested in a little something that we like to call transformational experiences-- in stepping out of the country, out of your comfort zone, and out of the cubicle-- we invite you to spend a year working on environmental sustainability in Nepal, working for a major newspaper in Sri Lanka, or teaching English to future diplmats in China. Or have you considered spending a year exploring the remote areas of Mongolia as a finance analyst with a micro-finance lending bank?

Princeton in Asia offers year-long fellowships for graduating seniors in 21 Asian countries and regions in a variety of fields: access to education, environmental sustainability, economic development, public health, access to information and social justice. We also offer you the opportunity to form relationships with people that live millions of miles away from everything you've ever known, and discover true and lasting friendship in the most unexpected places. So come on, what are you waiting for?

To learn more from a PiA alumni, Alex Abbott (Thailand '12) and Kate Voss (Nepal '11), please come to the Princeton in Asia information session on Thursday, October 26th from 7:00pm-9:00pm in UCLA School of Law Room 1430.

For more information, please email piaapps@princeton.edu. No prior experience in Asia or language skills necessary. See you soon!
