Quote of the Week

"The world is a complicated beast. But it’s beautiful, too. It’s not something to “figure out” or “hack” – it’s something to explore, and to enjoy, and to challenge in every day actions." --Anna Seeman (PiA 2015), World Education Laos

115 Years of Service in Asia

On the occasion of PiA's 115th anniversary (in 2013), we commissioned a documentary film to illuminate what is at the core of the PiA experience: service, community, and a change in perspective.

Our Mission

PiA’s mission is to foster mutual appreciation and cultural understanding by connecting service-minded graduates and partner organizations in Asia through immersive work experiences that transform perspectives and cultivate long-lasting friendships.

Join the PiA Alumni & Friends website!

As we’ve criss-crossed the globe and the interwebs over the past few years, catching up with alumni and friends of PiA near and far, we’ve heard one piece of feedback over and over: PiAers love other PiAers and want to have places to connect with each other, digitally and in person. So, because we couldn’t build a world wide yurtwe took to the web and built a digital ger for our Alumni and Friends. We traded felt for #allthefeels and built a welcoming, portable home offering incredible functionality for users, including individual alumni profiles, an online directory and searchable interactive map, direct messaging, groups management, a jobs board, and event organizing, among other exciting features. It's kind of like Facebook + LinkedIn + GoogleMaps + Idealist + Eventbrite + Kickstarter all rolled into one, and only for the PiA community. Go to https://princetoninasia.360alumni.com/ to join the website today!
