Featured Story: 10th Anniv. of Carriebright Funds Initiatives in Thailand & Myanmar
2015-2016 Carriebright Fellowship awarded to Clare Gallagher and Haley Read for their 'Earthraging with English' initiative, a program in southern Thailand that teaches local students water-safe skills and an appreciation for the marine environment, and Bill O'Toole for his 'S.O.S. (Save our Stories)' project in Myanmar, a collaborative effort with journalism students at the Chin Institute of Social Sciences to preserve the rich oral tradition of the Chin peoples through an online video archive of the myths, histories, jokes, and songs.
